One of Fort Worth’s most anticipated events is almost here. The 39th annual Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival returns to downtown April 16–19, bringing four days of art, music, food, and family-friendly fun to the heart of the city.
Spanning 18 square blocks, Main St. is Texas’ largest arts festival and consistently ranks among the top fine arts events in the country. This year’s festival will feature more than 200 jury-selected artists chosen from nearly 1,000 applicants nationwide. Attendees can browse and purchase work across 15 different artistic mediums, including sculpture, painting, photography, jewelry, ceramics, fiber art, and mixed media. Organizers estimate that more than $4 million in art will be sold during the event.
In addition to the world-class outdoor gallery, the festival will host a diverse live music lineup across three stages. Headliners include Ian Moore, Ghosts of Hill County, and an ‘80s-themed evening presented by Studio 80. Jazz artists Marion Meadows, Brian Simpson, and Jessy J will also take the stage, alongside country and R&B performers and crowd-favorite cover bands.
Food lovers won’t be disappointed either. Multiple food courts will offer everything from Texas barbecue and classic festival fare to international cuisine.
Families can head to the TCC Makers Zone for hands-on activities like printmaking, henna and glitter tattoos, foam crafts, sand art, caricatures, and more — making this a true all-ages event.
The festival is free to attend and will be open:
Events like this are part of what makes Fort Worth such a vibrant place to live. If you’ve been looking for a reason to spend a weekend downtown, Main St. is it.
Luxury real estate in Texas just had a record-breaking year — and Dallas–Fort Worth is leading the way.
According to the 2025 Texas Sales of Million-Dollar Homes Report from Texas Realtors, the state saw 14,418 homes sell for $1 million or more between November 2024 and October 2025. That represents a 12% increase year over year and generated an impressive $24.5 billion in total sales.
But here’s what stands out most for North Texas:
Dallas–Fort Worth accounted for 38% of all million-dollar home sales in Texas.
That means nearly 5,500 luxury homes sold across the Metroplex during that 12-month period, totaling approximately $9.7 billion in sales volume — about $1.2 billion more than the previous year.
Luxury homes in Dallas–Fort Worth averaged:
Statewide, the average price per square foot for $1M+ homes rose to $423 — more than double the average for all Texas homes.
While million-dollar homes still represent a smaller slice of the overall housing market, this segment continues to show strength and confidence. Buyers are clearly willing to invest in properties that offer standout amenities, prime locations, larger footprints, and lifestyle-driven features.
Houston ranked second in luxury share (27%), followed by Austin (19%), the rest of Texas (11%), and San Antonio (5%). But DFW remains the clear leader in high-end transactions.
Strong luxury sales reflect more than just high price points — they signal long-term confidence in the region’s growth, economy, and desirability. As North Texas continues to attract new residents, executives, entrepreneurs, and relocation buyers, demand for premium properties remains steady.
Whether you’re watching your home’s value, considering selling in the luxury space, or looking to purchase in one of Fort Worth’s premier neighborhoods, these numbers reinforce one thing:
Dallas–Fort Worth continues to be one of the strongest real estate markets in Texas — at every price point.
