The home comes with fresh interior paint, new carpet, and a newly installed Timberline HDZ Class 3 impact-resistant roof — an upgrade that carries real practical value beyond curb appeal, as it may qualify for savings on homeowners insurance.
Inside, the open-concept layout connects the living, kitchen, and dining areas in a way that keeps daily life and entertaining easy. The kitchen sits at the center of the home with a large island, granite countertops, wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and a spacious pantry. The split-bedroom floor plan separates the primary suite from the secondary bedrooms, giving the primary retreat its own sense of privacy. It includes a large walk-in closet, dual sinks, and an oversized tub and shower area. A separate utility room with washer and dryer hookups sits conveniently near the two-car garage.
Out back, a covered patio overlooks a spacious yard with plenty of room for outdoor use. The community adds a pool and playground to the mix, making it a well-rounded setup for families or anyone who wants the amenities without the maintenance of managing them solo.

Most move-in ready homes still require a moving truck full of furniture. This one doesn't.
2848 Acadia Drive in Corinth is a 2024 Meritage Homes build that comes fully furnished and thoughtfully appointed — meaning whoever moves in next can do exactly that, without the time or expense of setting up a home from scratch. It's an uncommon offering, and a particularly practical one for renters looking for flexibility or buyers who want to skip the furnishing process entirely.
The home itself is built on the Ellison floor plan — four bedrooms, three full baths, and an open-concept layout centered around a kitchen island and living area with a fireplace. The primary suite has dual vanities and a large walk-in closet. Energy-efficient construction keeps utility costs in check, and community amenities include a resort-style pool, playground, and walking trails.
The location is one of the stronger selling points. Minutes from Lake Lewisville for weekends on the water, with easy access to I-35, Argyle, Flower Mound, and Denton for work and daily errands.

Fort Worth is at the center of a statewide pilot program that could fundamentally change how people move across Texas — and the timeline is closer than most people realize.
Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport hosted the launch of "Project Nexus" on September 10, marking Texas as the sixth state to participate in a federal program aimed at developing air taxi service using electric, vertical take-off-and-landing aircraft. U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, Senator Ted Cruz, and Texas Department of Transportation officials were all on hand for the kickoff.
The program is a three-phase effort developed in partnership with aviation companies Joby Aviation and BETA Technologies. Early flights won't carry passengers — the first phase focuses on gathering data and validating routes using piloted aircraft. Phase two will test airborne medical and cargo logistics, including transporting critical medical supplies between rural and urban hospitals. Phase three is where it gets interesting for everyday travelers: passenger air taxi service connecting Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston across the Texas Triangle.
Fort Worth Alliance will serve as Joby's long-term home for regional flight operations, and the company completed a test flight between Alliance and DFW International Airport on September 12, with additional flights over the Stockyards and Toyota's Plano headquarters planned as part of a five-day testing window.
Fort Worth's aviation director told CultureMap earlier this year that he expects regular air taxi service to become a reality within five years. For a city that already sits at the intersection of two major airports and one of the country's fastest-growing metro areas, that kind of connectivity would be a meaningful addition — and another signal that the DFW region continues to position itself at the front of what comes next.
One of Fort Worth's most beloved holiday traditions is returning this season — and it's bringing some new company.
The Fort Worth Botanic Garden announced that the Winter Cathedral, the towering 18-foot-tall, 110-foot-long tunnel of tens of thousands of LED light globes set to Andrea Bocelli's "O Holy Night," will return as the centerpiece of Christmas in the Garden 2026. The attraction was a signature feature of the garden's Lightscape events from 2022 through 2024 before taking a year off, and it's back by popular demand.
Christmas in the Garden runs November 20 through January 3 and will feature 22 illuminated installations spread throughout the garden. Three new installations are making their U.S. debut this year: Neon Gallopers, a herd of illuminated horses; Nenufars, glowing Japanese flowers displayed on the water; and Snowflakes, a path lined with illuminated crystal-like forms. Returning Texas-themed favorites include cowboy nutcrackers, a large illuminated Texas flag, and the always-popular field of lighted bluebonnets.
Food will be a big part of the experience this year, with Westland Hospitality bringing in Fort Worth favorites including JD's Burgers, Magdalena's, Pulido's, Curly's Frozen Custard, and Margie's Italian Gardens. Curly's is creating a Christmas Sugar Cookie frozen custard exclusively for the event. Santa will be on-site at Santa's Village each evening through Christmas Eve for family photos.
Tickets go on sale September 16, with adult prices ranging from $20 to $34 and children's tickets from $13 to $22 depending on the night. Members receive discounts, and advance purchase saves you the $5 day-of surcharge. More information and tickets are available at fwbg.org.
Worth putting on the calendar early — this one tends to sell out.
