61% of movers say affordability is the biggest factor in where they move. Here's how broadening your search can change what's possible for your budget.
Turnkey condo near AT&T Stadium, a commercial opportunity zone property, Musume's return to downtown Fort Worth, and two Texas restaurants making national headlines.
You don't have to put 20% down. But if your equity makes it possible, here's why a lot of repeat buyers are choosing to do it anyway.
Saltillo tile, Moroccan fireplace, Spanish tile staircase, a pool home in Lakes of River Trails, TCU's national rankings, and DFW's top dog.
Multi-generational homes sell at a 22% premium per square foot. That bonus room or in-law suite could mean more money in your pocket at closing.
Updated homes in South Arlington and Dallas, JCPenney's Ridgmar closure, two Fort Worth schools ranked among America's best, and more.
Some homes are move-in ready in name only. 6632 Friendsway Drive is the real version of that.
The brick exterior, mature shade tree, and established landscaping make a strong first impression, and the interior holds up just as well. Engineered hardwood floors run through the main living areas, and the open-concept layout gives the living space room to breathe. A dedicated office and formal dining room add flexibility that a lot of homes in this price range don't offer — useful for working from home, hosting, or both.
The kitchen has been remodeled with white cabinetry, generous counter space, stainless steel appliances, gas cooking with electric connections available, and a breakfast nook for casual mornings. The split-bedroom floor plan keeps the primary suite on its own side of the home, away from the secondary bedrooms — a layout feature buyers consistently ask for. Bathrooms have been updated, storage is plentiful, and natural light runs throughout.
Out back, a fenced yard and spacious wooden deck give you a usable outdoor space without a project attached to it.

Location within a neighborhood matters more than buyers often give it credit for, and 2710 Avondale Drive has a good one. Situated on a corner lot in Mansfield with greenspace directly behind the property, the home offers a sense of privacy and quiet that's harder to find than the listing photos can fully convey.
The two-story layout offers four bedrooms, three full baths, and a spacious game room — a floor plan that gives households room to spread out without feeling overcrowded. The living area has a fireplace and large windows that pull in natural light throughout the day, keeping the interior warm and bright. The kitchen is built around granite countertops with a functional layout that works well for everyday cooking and for hosting.
Out back, a new wood fence encloses the yard, creating a private outdoor space ready to use as-is. With the greenspace behind the property, the backyard feels more open than a standard lot typically would.

A new tasting room just opened along Grapevine's Urban Wine Trail, and it's hard to miss — partly because it's housed in a sparkly pink Victorian building from the 1880s, and partly because the whole concept is genuinely fun.
Housewife Rebellion opened September 17 at 211 E. Worth St., just off Historic Main Street in Grapevine. Owner and artist Nicole Heere painted the 1880s Victorian house pink inside and out, filled it with her original oil paintings, pink chandeliers, and hand-painted tables, and designed the space as an unapologetic gathering spot for women who need somewhere to decompress.
The details are worth noting: wine bottles displayed in a vintage jewelry case, custom wallpaper in the bathrooms inspired by Frida Kahlo and Georgia O'Keeffe, Art Nouveau vanities with gold swan faucets. Charcuterie and wine flights are served on custom artist's palettes. Sports won't be on the TV — this space has a different agenda.
The wine itself holds up. Housewife Rebellion's Pinot Grigio and Rebel Rosé both earned Gold at the 2025 People's Choice Wine Tasting Classic, the largest consumer-judged wine competition in the country. Grapes are sourced from the Texas Hill Country and the Texas High Plains, and every label features Heere's original artwork.
Heere has plans for "Moms' Day Out (of Patience)" events and Real Housewives watch parties, with private event bookings available through the website.
Current hours are Thursday through Saturday 11 am to 9 pm and Sunday 11 am to 7 pm. Worth adding to the list the next time you're in Grapevine.
If you're heading to AT&T Stadium this season, the concession stands look a little different — and a lot more interesting.
The Cowboys announced their new 2026 food lineup ahead of the home opener against the Washington Commanders on September 20, and the theme is clear: nachos with an international twist. Working with Frito-Lay and the Legends Global food and beverage team, the stadium is rolling out five new nacho variations, including Peri Peri Chicken Doritos Loaded with garlic perinaise sauce, Texas BBQ Doritos Loaded with house-smoked beef brisket and sweet and spicy pickles, Butter Chicken Doritos Loaded with spiced yogurt, and Tostitos Island Jerk Nachos with fresh mango salsa and lime crema. Fans who caught FIFA World Cup matches in Arlington earlier this year already got a preview — these were developed for that run and are now making their way into the regular Cowboys lineup.
Beyond nachos, two new sandwiches are joining the menu: a Kraft BBQ DCQ hoagie loaded with jalapeño cheese sausage, Cowboys mac and cheese, and chopped brisket, and a Kraft Buffalo Aioli Chicken Sandwich available at all four Crisp stands around the stadium.
Fan favorites from past seasons — Tyson Cowboys Star Nuggets, the Cowboys Cheesesteak, the Lineman Burrito, and Dessert Nachos among them — are all staying put. Suite ticketholders also get a new lineup this year, including an expanded vegan menu with burgers, meatless chicken nuggets, and Buffalo cauliflower bites alongside new non-vegan options like Caribbean Spiced Jerk Chicken and Chicken Empanadas.
The team is also launching AT&T Stadium Wayfinding, a navigation tool available in the Cowboys app and at four stadium kiosks that helps fans find their seats, nearby concessions, and restrooms without wandering.
If you're going to any home games this season, it's a good excuse to explore beyond your usual order.
