Big news for Dallas–Fort Worth travelers! Frontier Airlines just expanded its reach with three brand-new nonstop routes from DFW Airport — giving locals even more budget-friendly ways to explore the country.
Starting October 8, Frontier will begin flying three times a week to El Paso, Texas, opening up easier travel between North and West Texas. The next day, October 9, two more exciting destinations join the list:
To celebrate, one-way fares are launching as low as $29 for El Paso and Tucson, and $49 for Charleston — making it an ideal time to plan a holiday getaway or winter escape.
This expansion brings Frontier’s total to 41 nonstop destinations from DFW, reinforcing its commitment to offering affordable travel options from North Texas.
Even better? Frontier is rolling out upgraded features like UpFront Plus seating (extra room in the front two rows) and plans to debut First Class seating later this year — giving travelers more comfort without the big price tag.
Whether you're craving the Southwest desert, Southern charm, or a weekend in West Texas, these new routes make it easier (and cheaper) to get there.

North Fort Worth is set to welcome a major new residential development, as Centurion American Development Group unveils plans for Rio Claro, a 629-acre master-planned community designed to meet the needs of the area’s rapidly growing population.
Rio Claro will be developed in four phases and is expected to feature approximately 1,761 single-family homes. Builders include some of the industry’s most respected names—Coventry Homes, DR Horton, First Texas Homes, and HistoryMaker Homes—each offering a variety of lot sizes ranging from 50 to 80 feet wide.
Located southeast of Morris Dido Newark Road and Bonds Ranch Road, this new community will be just minutes from Eagle Mountain Lake, offering residents access to marinas, scenic recreation, and a true Texas lake lifestyle.
Homeowners in Rio Claro can expect a thoughtfully designed neighborhood that includes:
These features aim to create a vibrant, family-friendly community where residents can thrive for generations.
Centurion American’s development goes beyond homes—they’re investing in long-term infrastructure in collaboration with the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, and local transportation authorities. Improvements to area roadways and traffic flow will support the broader North Fort Worth corridor as it continues to grow.
Funding for the Rio Claro development was provided by IBC Bank, and the land was acquired from PMB Capital. Rio Claro will join the adjacent Estates at Eagle Mountain, an 836-acre development featuring over 1,100 large residential lots—bringing the combined total for both communities to nearly 3,000 single-family homes across 1,500 acres.
With Phase One expected to deliver lots to builders in early 2027, Rio Claro is poised to become one of the most significant new communities in Fort Worth. Blending quality homebuilders, natural beauty, top-rated schools, and long-term infrastructure planning, it represents the next step in meeting the housing demand in one of the fastest-growing cities in America.
